Thad Matta and his Ohio State staff have received a commitment from a top eighty rated guard.

“I’m committed to Ohio State,” Kameron Williams said. “It’s big-time basketball on one of the biggest stages and they win.”

“I’m will get to play with great players and will be pushed by them and the coaches to be at my best.”

Williams is a tough competitor, at 6-3 170-pounds, he has good size to go with his combo skills. He can flat out stroke the perimeter jumper from beyond the arc hitting almost fifty percent of his perimeter jumpers this past summer with the Baltimore Elite, but to go with that he has the handle to create drive with either hand and uses his bounce and length to finish versus contact in the paint.

He can make plays on both ends, and has the quicks to go with above mentioned length to lock down opponents at either guard spot. This ability and the competitive desire he shows on the court will put the Mt. St. Joseph guard on the court early on in Columbus. Look for him to add immediate depth from day one with the Buckeyes.

He chose Ohio State over interest from Miami, Marquette, Syracuse, and Wake Forest
