Ohio State Buckeyes add No.24 rated junior
Thad Matta and his Ohio State Buckeyes staff picked up a huge piece for the future with the commitment of our No.24 rated junior 6-6 Keita Bates-Diop from Normal, IL University High.
He is an explosive driver from the arc, who can get to the rim in a hurry and finish with either hand versus contact in the lane. He has good range on his jumper and uses that threat to set up drive or pass. He has the tools to board and take it end to end, and the ability to distribute or score in transition. He can defend the two thru four spots and will be an impact contributor on both ends when he hits the floor for the Buckeyes in the fall of 2014.
He chose Ohio State over interest from Purdue, Michigan and Michigan State.
