Ohio State Buckeyes add No.54 rated junior
Thad Matta and his Ohio State Buckeyes staff add a quality wing scorer in rebounder in our No.54 rated junior, 6-6 Jae’Sean Tate from Pickerington, OH Central High and the All-Ohio Red program.

They see me as an Evan Turner type, a guy who can play the two and three spots, especially if I improve my jump shot.”
Tate is an athletic and physical wing who plays like a blue collar warrior. he has a real nose for the ball off the glass and can start the break off the dribble or with the pass, then he fils lane and involved in the finish on the other end of the court. He can pop mid-range off the dribble snd csn finish at the rim versus contact. He can play the three spot on the perimeter or take it to you on the blocks with his quick feet and strength. He will find a way to be on the court early and often in Columbus when he arrives in the fall of 2014.
He chose Ohio State over Michigan and Iowa.
