Badgers Adds Athletic Ohio Power Forward
Bo Ryan and his Wisconsin staff received a commitment from an athletic and physical power forward over the weekend.
6-8 230-pound power forward Vitto Brown from Bowling Green High announced his commitment over twitter Saturday night:
“Officially committed to play basketball at the University of Wisconsin!” #Badgers @SenseiSwat33
He averaged 19.3 points and 12.3 rebounds for Bowling Green last season. But, he really broke out this summer with the Spiece Indy Heat dominating around the rim for Spiece, crashing the glass, and showing the ability to score with strength around the rim. Plus the ability to step out to 17-feet, knock down the jumper or attack off the dribble versus bigs and score in the paint. He doesn’t back down on “D” either, and his aggressive style and athletic gifts will let him see lots of playing time for the Badgers as a freshman.
He committed to Wisconsin over offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota and Nebraska.
He joins 6-2 point guard Bronson Koenig, our No.91 rated senior, 6-4 shooting guard Riley Dearring, and 6-3 prep school shooting guard Jordan Hill in the Wisconsin Class of 2013.
