Keelon Brookins, a 5-foot-10, 184-pound rising senior defensive back from Tartan, has switched his commitments from Minnesota to Big Ten rival Wisconsin. He was the first commit for the Minnesota football recruiting Class of 2013.

Brookins won the state’s 200-metter title last month with a time of 21.94, just missing your personal best of 21.89.

Brookins shined in Champaign at the Nike Football Training Camp, where he was named Defensive Back MVP at the Nike Camp.

Brookins lead the Titans to a 4-5 mark last season in an injury-plagued year.
