Wisconsin Badgers add athletic Ohio power man
Bo Ryan and his Wisconsin Badger staff have added some athletic help up front with the commitment of All-Ohio Red and Toledo, OH Whitmer High’s 6-8 power forward Nigel Hayes according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Hayes reportedly chose Wisconsin over Ohio State, Stanford, and Minnesota.
Hayes is an explosiv rebounder who can finish versus contact in the paint, pop out to 17-feet and face, then drive on bigs or pop jumper. He is an excellent help side shot blocker and solid face-up defender who will add athleticism to the Badger frontline as a freshamn next fall. Look for him to team with fellow recruit Vitto Brown o give Badgers an athletic forward combo in the future in Madison.
He joins the 6-8 Brown, along with a trio of backcourt talents in top one hundred talent 6-2 point Bronson Koenig, 6-4 swing man Riley Dearring, and 6-4 prep school scoring guard Jordan Hill in the Wisconsin Badgers Class of 2013.
